About Us
- Men and Families of the 1011th S & S Co.
- This blog was created so you might better know the men in the 1011th S&S Co. that served your country in Vietnam from August of 1968 through September of 1969. This unit was made up of two Army Reserve platoons, one from Independence Ks., and one from Emporia Ks. The members of this unit were citizen soldiers which left families, businesses, and colleges to go to war.

I served with a several of you when I was with the 590th Mtce. Co
at Bearcat.
MY DAD IS EARL L ATKINSON AND I AM TRYING TO FIND PATCHES,PINES OR ANYTHING I CAN GET TO PUT AROUND MY DAD'S FLAG WE HAVE A COMMAND POST WHERE I CAN GET STUFF BUT MY DAD DID NOT TALK MUCH ABOUT IT SO I HAVE NO INFO ON WHAT TO LOOK FOR IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME WITH INFO I HAVE BEEN LOOKING ON HERE FOR A LONG TIME AND JUST SAW THIS PAGE AND SEEN HIS NAME ON IT SO MAYBE SOMEONE HERE KNOWN HIM MAY BE ABLE TO HELP ME THANKS
